Overview

The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course is an intensive, hands-on training program .

The course is designed for healthcare professionals and focuses on the advanced management of cardiovascular emergencies. Participants will develop the knowledge and practical skills required to recognize and manage cardiac arrest, acute coronary syndromes, stroke, life-threatening arrhythmias, and other critical emergencies using evidence-based ACLS algorithms.

This training will take place at Mission Academy – King Abdullah Road, As-Safra, and includes interactive lectures, simulated emergency scenarios, team-based resuscitation practice, and instructor-guided practical sessions to ensure competence and confidence in advanced emergency care.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive an ACLS Provider Certificate issued by the Saudi Heart Association, valid for two years.

What I will learn?

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Recognize and manage cardiac arrest and other life-threatening cardiovascular emergencies.
Apply the latest ACLS algorithms in accordance with Saudi Heart Association guidelines.
Perform high-quality CPR and lead effective resuscitation efforts.
Recognize and manage cardiac arrhythmias using appropriate pharmacological and electrical interventions.
Perform effective airway management and ventilation during advanced resuscitation.
Identify and manage acute coronary syndromes (ACS) and stroke in emergency settings.
Demonstrate safe and effective use of manual defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion, and transcutaneous pacing.
Communicate effectively and function efficiently as a leader or member of a high-performance resuscitation team.
Integrate clinical decision-making, teamwork, and post–cardiac arrest care into advanced life support practice.
